Program Introduction
Today, rapid technological developments especially in transport and transportation are felt more in the logistics sector, especially in the markets where logistics services are provided and especially in the basic dynamics of these markets. This change and development, as well as the development of the product and service sector of the relevant sectors, it has increased the need for qualified labor needed by the effect of competitive environment and it has become almost compulsory to meet this requirement.
It is possible that the logistics sector can continue to develop in this competitive environment and be flexible, productive, changeable and evolving, able to adapt to this environment, be aware of the requirements of the sector, possess managerial and staffing skills with vocational knowledge and vision.
The purpose of the logistics program is to manage a system in which enterprises are aimed at maximizing the flow, storage, control and improvement of the flow of goods, parts and products in order to maximize profits; Turkey's changing and improving conditions in logistic appropriate, from the moment he graduated from the sector can be located in each arm is to train qualified personnel.
In the transport sector, which is the main item of international trade, it is very important to cultivate intermediaries that dominate business, mathematical decision making, compound technology at the basic and programming level, foreign trade, customs, transport and other national and international legal arrangements.
Student Opportunities
In our program there are 25 classes for courses to be carried out. Each class has 72 square meters of space. Each class has a capacity of 60 students and has a projection device at 6th grade. There are 4 computer laboratories which are 72 square meters in size and at the same time 30 students can be trained. In addition, there are two amphitheaters in the area of 130 square meters and 125 students can use.
The college library has been arranged and the books and resources have been completed at the number and capacity to support our program.
There are a total of 1602 professional books for use in the department in the Library without Vocational High School, all of which are in press after 1990 and beyond.
In Simav there is also a Dormitory for Girls and Boys with a capacity of 500 people for Girls and Boys.
It has sufficient infrastructure and capacity to maintain the education of all programs due to the building without high school, and the school has local and environmental support which is the biggest need.
The students who will be studying in our program will be able to fulfill the internship requirements within the district or during the holiday period according to the regulation provisions of the internship. Students can practice in all sectors that serve in the public-private sector.

Graduation and Employment Conditions
Graduates of the program will be able to use the techniques, skills and modern tools required for logistics applications, the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams, the knowledge of professional and ethical responsibility, the use of basic computer science and the computer programs required by the profession, practical courses and internship programs .
In order for businesses to be one step ahead of their competitors in today's competitive business environment, there should be no delay in business processes. Logistics covers all management and referral activities within the supply chain, from procurement of raw materials to the production environment, completion of the final product, distribution channels and customers. The courses prepared in line with these and similar needs of the sector are carried out in modern classrooms supported by computer labs and there are lectures on all transportation types (road, sea, railway and airway transportation) enriched with case studies and current sectoral developments in case studies. with an internship program that will enable them to apply. Seminars given by successful managers and experts of the logistics sector during training and on-site training and visiting / observation activities carried out with successful firms in the sector help students to develop their fields and recognize the sector closely.
